Inter Misses Chance to Go Top After Defeat to Juventus

Inter Milan failed to capitalize on an opportunity to take the top spot in Serie A, suffering a 1-0 defeat against Juventus in the 25th round of the league.

The decisive goal in the “Derby d’Italia” came in the 74th minute, courtesy of Francisco Conceicao.

Inter could not take advantage of Napoli’s 2-2 draw against Lazio on Saturday and remains two points behind the league leaders with 54 points from 25 matches. Juventus sits in fourth place with 46 points.

Fiorentina complicated their push for a Champions League spot with a 2-0 home defeat to Como. The visitors secured their first points in four matches.

AS Roma extended their unbeaten streak to nine games with a narrow 1-0 victory over relegation-threatened Parma. The only goal of the match came in the 33rd minute from a free kick by Argentine forward Matias Soule.

Monza ended a four-game losing streak but remains bottom of the table after a goalless home draw against Lecce, still trailing the safety zone by seven points.
