Lewis Hamilton Eager to Begin Ferrari Era at Australian Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton is set to start his much -awaited Ferrari in the Australian Grand Prix later this week, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his magnificent career.

The construction of the 2025 Formula 1 season has dominated Hamilton’s Ferrari’s step around the move, eager to see how the seven -time world champions will perform with the legendary team.

I am itching to go

Hamilton, who last competed for a title in the controversial 2021 season, has terminated three mixed years with Mercedes, but won two wins in Silverstone and Spa-Fancharmps in 2024.

While the pre-season test in Bahrain suggested that Ferrari is behind McLaren, the race at Albert Park will provide a clear picture of the competitive order later this week.

Hamilton said, “It is difficult to gauge where everyone is standing – it really looks closer among us.” “But personally, I am getting itchy to go. It has come a long time, and finally I am an honor to reach my first race with Ferrari. I am incredibly grateful to the occasion.”

Hamilton remain the most successful driver in the history of the game, with 105 career win and 104 poll positions since his F1 debut in 2007.

Focus on performance, unrelated to external pressure

The 40 -year -old spent four days a week at the Maranelo factory in Ferrari, immersed himself in the operation of the team while disconnecting from external noise.

He said, “I don’t really follow the news, and I take a break from social media for a long time, so I do not bomb external opinion,” he explained. “I live in my small bubble, completely focus on pursuing my mind and body than before.”

Hamilton rejected any perception of external pressure, emphasizing that his inspiration comes from within.

“I am not here to prove anything to anyone. I don’t feel that I am not so. I have been doing it for a long time and know what to do to succeed. My goal is to distribute for myself, my family and this team, because I believe they deserve success.”

Winning goals

Ferrari has not won the Drivers Championship in 2007 since Km Ricaconen, with Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Wettels being reduced in their campaigns. The team’s last constructive championship came in 2008, the same year Hamilton won his first world title.

With an open mind in Melbourne – where Ferrari has been traditionally strong – Mahilton acknowledged the importance of a smooth transition.

“The sooner you can perform at a higher level and get results with a new team, better,” he said. “Always there is an infection period, and the first half of the season is about laying that foundation, building relationships and acquiring confidence. It is respected, but trust takes time to develop.”

Despite further challenges, Hamilton’s ambitions are clear.

“The goal is to win. The target team is to pursue. I had some difficult sessions, but I am aiming for a better year than the last three. Many factors will affect it, but I am fully committed to make it.”

Adjust the differences of ferrari

For the first time in his F1 career, Hamilton will drive without the Mercedes engine, a significant change between the teams given a significant change.

After testing 2023 and 2024 cars of Ferrari earlier this year, he had only one and a half days in the 2025 models during the East-Season Test, where he posted the second fastest time.

“This is a new experience,” Hamilton accepted. “The engine feels a different vibration and feeling, and the team operates in a completely different way. I was looking at last year’s race data, and it was like reading it, which I was used, compared to it was like reading it upside down!”

Despite the step learning curve, Hamilton remains energetic with the challenge.

“It makes it exciting to see things from a different perspective. It is one of the most exciting period of my life, and I am really enjoying it. I can’t wait to get into the car tomorrow.”
